Various sources have told BoxingScene.com that the HBO doubleheader scheduled for March 21st for the Theater at Madison Square Garden, featuring Terrence Crawford and Nicholas Walters, has been scrapped.

Things started to unravel earlier this week as Walters - the defending WBA featherweight titlist - was pulled from this card with a case of the flu. Then Crawford, who is moving up to junior welterweight, was still without a dance partner and talks with Chris Algieri were moving at a glacial pace.

In the last day or two it was decided to delay Crawford's 2015 debut.

Top Rank and HBO are now looking to find a new date.
