Johan Duhaupas, due to medical reasons, has pulled out of his mandatory defense of the EU heavyweight title against Erkan Teper that was set for June 13 in Munich. There was some confusion around this as Duhaupas never returned a signed contract and late last week it was announced that Duhaupas would be stripped of the title. Duhaupas then came in with a medicial certificate saying he was unable to box for 60 days. The promoters had already invested in the show in Munich for June 13 and secured a new opponent for Teper in Newfel Outah, 12-0 and reigning French champion, and the EBU have allowed this fight to go ahead.

he is one guy to keep an eye on in the euro scene. 12-0 but his last 2 fights have been scary KOs of martin rogan & Michael sprott. yeah they are old & seen better days but still very scary looking knockouts...here's some fights http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/showthread.php?t=618916
