Team Trout Target 154 Unification With "K9' Bundrage

By Rick Reeno

Greg Cohen, promoter for WBA "regular" junior middleweight champion Austin Trout (25-0, 14KOs), advised BoxingScene.com that he's trying to secure a unification with IBF king Cornelius "K9" Bundrage (32-4, 19KOs), who recently became a promotional and a managerial free agent.

Cohen has been trying to put this fight together, but there hasn't been any movement from K9 to make it happen. He wants to give K9 a few more days to make a final decision before pursuing other possibilities for Trout.
Wouldn't mind seeing Trout fight Gabriel Rosado in the mean time, and than target someone like Angulo, Molina, or Kirkland or something.
Rosado is already fighting Whittaker to become the mandatory for K9's title. K9 won't be waiting for a…

Deep inside K9 knows he's the weakest champ of the bunch. He won't beat Trout (or the other champs for that matter). He will come up with the excuse that Trout isn't a big name and he wants to fight…
