| Team Margarito Ready to Disclose Texas Drug Test Results

By Ernest Gabion In response to numerous inquiries, Sergio Diaz Jr., co-manager of Antonio Margarito, advised BoxingScene.com that he's ready and willing to disclose the results from Margarito's drug test pertaining to his most recent fight against Manny Pacquiao, which took place on November 13 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Diaz, and the entire team, want to show Margarito is 100% clean. Due to Federal and State law, Texas will not release the results without consent - which Diaz plans on providing today - with the results being released by Top Rank shortly. There was some controversy prior to the fight, as to whether or not Margarito ingested a substance containing ephedra that was allegedly mixed in with a cup of coffee. |
