WBC junior middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (39-0-1, 29KOs) is ready for the big names on May 5th.  The fighter managed by Chepo and Eddy Reynoso, and promoted by Golden Boy Promotions, is negotiating the details of his next fight. According to Chepo Reynoso, a meeting will soon take place in Los Angeles to negotiate the details for Canelo's next fight.

Canelo says he's ready for anyone on May 5th, including Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao, Miguel Cotto and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

Chepo supports his boxer's position, with enthusiasm.

"I think this year it will happen [a big fight]. We asked the promoter for the big names, because people demand more and more. The truth is, the [names who Canelo wants] are the big names. They are all great men, fighters from many prestigious backgrounds and all fo them deserve respect, but we fear none of them. We believe that Saul has the ability to beat them and besides he is already a world champion and has to show why he is the absolute world champion," Reynoso said.

Regarding 2012, Reynoso said "I think we could do three fights this year."

Pacquiao and Mayweather were a case of styles making fights.... neither of those styles made for a go...
