ANTONIO TARVER

“This is a big fight for both of us. I know he’s tough and not going to let me just walk in his backyard and take the title without making a strong showing for himself. I have to take it from him and I don’t expect the fight to go the distance.”

“I’m not planning on  going 12 rounds with this fight. I want to get him out early, because 12 rounds with Danny Green is a lot of work and he has knockout power.”

“I have no plans being on Danny Green’s resume as a lost.  I’m sure he’s going to try and test the waters with his aggressive style like he did against Roy Jones Jr., but I’m no Roy Jones Jr..”

DANNY GREEN

“Antonio Tarver is going to be a hard fighter for me to hit. He has size, skills, experience and he’s a southpaw.. It’s going to be tough fight for me.”

“I’m not planning on giving up my World Title. I have a lot of homework to do. This will no doubt be the hardest fight of my career. If I’m not prepared, I will lose this fight.”

“What I like about this fight is it will allow me another opportunity to make my name and it will open other doors for me. I will be ready on July 20th.”
