Tarver-Lebedev Targeted For February, Says Hryunov

According to boxing manager Vladimir Hryunov, WBA interim-cruiserweight champion Denis Lebedev's next fight is being targeted for the month of February, and IBO champion Antonio Tarver is the target. In the last year, Lebedev (23-1, 17KOs) has beaten two American legends - Roy Jones Jr. and James Toney, and now he wants to add Tarver to that list/

"We plan to make a fight between Tarver and Lebedev in February 2012. The fight could take place in the British Isles, where Denis has already fought [in the past]," Hryunov said to Alexander Pavlov.

Tarver may be older but by no means is he shot. Tarver paced himself in his boxing career and hasn't had a lot of fights for a guy his age. His last couple of outings he's looked decent as he's…

First Roy Jones Jr then Toney now Tarver.....Tarver can win this...but if Lebedev wins this his resume will have some good looking names on it
