Polish heavyweight contender Artur Szpilka (16-0, 12KOs) has to overcome a stumbling block to enter the United States to move forward with his HBO televised fight with Bryant Jennings on January 25th at New York's Madison Square Garden. Szpilka was stopped by Homeland Security at a Chicago airport. He was sent back to Poland to get additional entry documents. He has a 48 hours.

Things looks a little better now, he got his new P1(?) visa, he needs one more paper (some waiver sht) form the US ambasady in Poland and he is good to go, the ambasady was very helpfull throuout the whole things so fingers crossed. He had his last sparring session with Rekowski today in Poland, ...

The deadline is tomorrow. If the visa problem is not resolved, the fight is cancelled/postponed. I doubt if they'll find a decent replacement to fight Jennings in time for Jan 25.
