Sylvester vs Geale is Set, May 7 in Neubrandenburg

IBF middleweight champ Sebastian Sylvester (34-3, 16KOs) will defend the title against Australian Daniel Geale (24-1, 15KOs) on May 7 at the Jahnsportforum in Neubrandenburg. Geale is the mandatory challenger to Sylvester's title. Contracts were signed on Saturday after the parties came to an agreement without having to go to a purse bid.
 
Sylvester was forced to withdraw from his previous fight due to illness. He was scheduled for January 30 at the same venue against Mehdi Bouadla.
 
May 7 is also the date for Sauerland´s show in Copenhagen with the Battle of the Legends, headlined by the Brian Nielsen vs Evander Holyfield fight.

As Tunney said, after what happened to Karmazin and Lebedev against Sauerland fighters in Germany, Geale is going to have a really tough time getting a decision. I don't know that he has the punch to KO Sylvester. I would…
