Sylvester vs Geale is Set, May 7 in Neubrandenburg

By Per Ake Persson

IBF middleweight champ Sebastian Sylvester (34-3, 16KOs) will defend the title against Australian Daniel Geale (24-1, 15KOs) on May 7 at the Jahnsportforum in Neubrandenburg. Geale is the mandatory challenger to Sylvester's title. Contracts were signed on Saturday after the parties came to an agreement without having to go to a purse bid.

Sylvester was forced to withdraw from his previous fight due to illness. He was scheduled for January 30 at the same venue against Mehdi Bouadla.

May 7 is also the date for Sauerland´s show in Copenhagen with the Battle of the Legends, headlined by the Brian Nielsen vs Evander Holyfield fight.
Not bad at all. Hope Geale gets rid off that German bum.
I imagine he'll need to really dominate or get a KO to win.

Sylvester lost his paper title to Karmazin and got a gift, this gets nothing from me.
