By Alexander Pavlov

O2 World Arena, Berlin, Germany - On Saturday night, "King" Arthur Abraham (35-3, 27KOs) won a twelve round unanimous decision over Robert Stieglitz (42-3, 23KOs) to capture the WBO super middleweight championship in a very close fight. The scores were 116-112, 116-112 and 115-113.

Stieglitz no-showed the post-fight press conference. A rep for SES Boxing, who promote Stieglitz, advised that he needed emergency medical care for several facial cuts. The rep said he suffered a very deep cut below his left eye and two cuts above the right eye.
