Stevenson: If I Could Fight Anyone, I Want Hopkins

By Ryan Burton recently spoke to WBC light heavyweight champion Adonis "Superman" Stevenson who face Tavoris Cloud on Saturday night in Montreal, Quebec.  The fight will be televised by HBO.

"(If I could fight anyone) I would like to fight Bernard Hopkins.  He is the IBF champion and in Montreal he has a big name.  It is an interesting fight.  You have the power puncher against the old man who has the skill and craftiness of Bernard Hopkins.  But I need to take care of business on September 28th.  I don't have any other opponents in my head right now," Stevenson stated.

Stevenson said that he plans on putting on spectacular performance on Saturday night at the Bell Centre. When asked for a prediction he had a special message for his opponent.

"On September 28th you are going to see a big knockout.  I said to Tavoris Cloud that after the fight you need to Google the fight so you can see Tavoris Cloud get knocked out by Adonis Superman Stevenson", a laughing Stevenson told
Of course this dude would say that. He would wanna fight Hopkins instead of Kovalev.
Doesn't Kovalev want to fight Hopkins too? Why isn't Stevenson allowed to want that fight?

Of course this dude would say that. He would wanna fight Hopkins instead of Kovalev. I hate when a fighter comes outta nowhere, wins the title and act like they have been on a high level for a long time.…
