The Philippines Wilbur Andugan has suffered a 4th round TKO in a WBC Asian Boxing Council super nflyweight title fight against Thai champion Srisaket Sor Rungvisai in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand.
It was the second stoppage loss by Andogan who lost by a 5th round TKO to Songkom Sakhomsil who, according to boxrec.com was making his debut, on March 2, 2012.
With the loss the 21 year old Andogan dropped to 8-9-3 with 2 knockouts while the 25 year old Srisaket improved to 13-1 with 12 knockouts.
The Thai champion’s only loss was to talented Japanese Kenji Oba (16-0-2, 12 KO’s) in only his second fight on February 7, 2010.
Fighting on the same card 27 year old veteran Lowie Bantigue who is ranked No. 14 super flyweight by the Asian Boxing Council lost a six round unanimous decision to ABC bantamweight champion Yodchanchai Nakornloung whose birth name is Rachon Yageow.
With the win the 33 year old Thai improved to 16-2 with 13 knockouts while Bantigue dropped to 21-19-7 with 12 knockouts.
