The president of the World Boxing Council, Mauricio Sulaiman, said Japanese promoter Akihiko Honda of Teiken Promotions won the recent purse bid to secure the promotional rights to the match between WBC super flyweight champion Srisaket Sor Rungvisai and mandatory challenger Carlos Cuadras. The fight between Cuardas (29-0, 24 KOs) and Rungvisai (24-3-1 , 22 KOs) will potentially take place on a date in May at a venue and location to be determined in Mexico.

This should be a decent fight... I expect Rungvisai to win... :)

Im looking forward to this fight. It will great to see Rungvisai fight in Mexico, should be a war

This could turn out to be a good one, Srisaket is relentless pressure - Cuadras is trained by Nacho and fights as such. It being in Mexico does make a difference but I'll roll with the Thai Wrecking Machine.
