Spada, Trainer Confident Home Turf Won't Help Rubio

Italy's Domenico "Vulcano" Spada (38-4, 19KOs), is training with the dedication of a gladiator, for his upcoming fight on April 5th against Mexican Marco Antonio “Veneno” Rubio (58-6-1, 50KOs) for the WBC interim middleweight title, in Chihuahua, Mexico.

Spada is training in Rome with the sage guidance of Valerio Monti who stressed:

“His strength is so impressive that the Mexican will feel that he’s colliding with a rock!"

This fight will take place at the Delicias Stadium where a 16,000 capacity crowd will gather.

Spada is relishing the challenge of fighting "in the lion's den."

“Mexican fans are know about boxing. they're very passionate, but also very respectful, so I’m not worried about the crowd. They will accept my victory without any problem,” he assured.
