Sources: Danny Garcia To Withdraw From Judah Bout?

Sources in Las Vegas are indicating that WBA/WBC junior welterweight champion Danny Garcia is expected to withdraw from his February 9th Showtime fight with top contender Zab Judah. The event takes place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Judah himself confirmed to BoxingScene.com that he was advised of the same information. He was told that Garcia is "trying to pull out." And the two-division former champion, furious with the withdrawal rumors, began bashing Garcia on Twitter.

"Wow, Danny Garcia you backing out after all that talk. First ya'll call the cops [and] now ya'll back out the fight! Listen punk be a man and take this ass whipping I got for you on Feb 9th and stop trying to back out punk boy," Judah wrote.

Neither Showtime or Golden Boy Promotions have confirmed the circulating rumors.
