A fight was planned on Saturday night between interim-WBA super flyweight champion Liborio Solis (14-3-1, 7KOs) and challenger Jose Cabrera (20-3-2, 8KOs) fell apart due to financial issues. Solis-Cabrera was scheduled to headline a card at the Parque Naciones Unidas in Caracas, Venezuela. The card went ahead as scheduled, but the fight was canceled at the late hour because of an issue with paying both boxers.

Cabrera was almost shut out by Narvaez in his last fight. Why was he getting another title shot?
