Sipho Taliwe Vows To Shock Daud Yordan and Australia

“Indonesian Thunder” Daud Cino Yordan (31-3, 23 KO’s) is set to return to the ring on December 6th and defend his newly won IBO World Lightweight Championship against South African Sipho “Tsunami” Taliwe (21 -3, 14 KO’s) in the Co Main Event of the next Dragon Fire: World Championship Boxing event at Metro City in Perth, Western Australia.

The 26 year old Yordan made Indonesian boxing history in July when he became the first Indonesian two weight division champion at Featherweight & Lightweight respectively following his unanimous decision victory over Argentinian Daniel “Tatu” Brizuela (25-2-2, 8 KO’s) in the Main Event of Dragon Fire Promotions “Thuderdome II” at Metro City Perth, Australia.

Yordan who made his professional boxing debut at the tender age of 17 goes by the moniker “Indonesian Thunder” due to his remarkable KO prowess. A true global athlete having competed in Indonesia, Singapore, America, Philippines and will defending his World Championship abroad in Australia.

“I’m ready for anyone, anywhere, anytime… December 6th I can’t wait  “ – Daud Yordan

Sipho Taliwe is a quietly spoken and humble young man whose dedication to boxing puts a new definition to the word. The man known as the Tsunami holds a famous victory of Former IBF World Super Featherweight Champion Mzonke Fana and is 4 time WBC International Super Featherweight Champion & multi time national Champion.

A day in the life of Sipho Taliwe starts at 4.30 am when he gets out of bed, regardless of the weather, to run 10-12km. He then puts in a day’s work at his manager’s company, Beachway Auto Spares in Maraisburg, before going off to the gym at around 17.00. Here he will put in 10 rounds of sparring, 10 rounds on the heavy bag and a gruelling session of calisthenics and ground exercises.

A lack of dedication and determination are not factors which are going to impede Sipho’s quest for top honours in the boxing ring, and with the outstanding ability this may just be enough to get him where he eventually he wants to be – The new IBO Lightweight champion of the World.

“Daud Yordan & Australia look out because a South African Tsumani is coming”  – Sipho “Tsunami” Taliwe

WBA Super World Featherweight Champion Chris “The Dragon” John will face IBO World Featherweight Champion Simpiwe “V12” Vetyeka in a battle of the World Featherweight Champions (25-2, 15 KO’s) in the other Main Event of Dragon Fire: World Championship Boxing.

Dragon Fire is very excited about the 2 World Title bouts as they are both expected to be tough, and very close battles.

The fight will be broadcast live on RCTI from 9:00pm (Jakarta time)
