| Silvio Olteanu vs. Valery Yanchy Possible Up Next?

By Per Ake Persson EBU flyweight champion Silvio Olteanu retained the title this past weekend with a very close, split 12-round decision over Italian veteran Andrea Sarritzu.
Next up could be a third fight against Valery Yanchy, who is the newly appointed mandatory challenger.
Olteanu, 14-6-1, and Yanchy, around 19-3-1, have previously fought twice - both very close fights ending in a majority decison draw and a split decision for Olteanu.
Both men are fighting out of Spain. |

In fact, Olteanu and Yanchi have fought four times. Olteanu's first and third fights (in 2005) were against Yanchi, who won twice. This would be the fifth bout. |
