Sijuola Shabazz Inks Deal With Leon, Pro Run Nears

By Ryan Burton has been notified that prominent amateur standout and 2012 Olympic trial light heavyweight finalist Sijuola Shabazz has inked a multi-year deal with rising boxing advisor Greg Leon.

The New York based advisor said, "Siju is as talented as they come. He's more seasoned for the pro's than most amateurs I've seen and I'm very confident that I just signed a future world champion."

Leon also stated that Shabazz will be working with his other clients Jean Pascal, Zsolt Erdei, Allan Green and Troy Ross during his development.

Big plans are in store for the prospect as Leon stated that he is confident Shabbaz will sign a long term deal with promoter Lou DiBella in very near future.  If that were the case, Shabazz would join Joachim Alcine, Allan Green, Zsolt Erdei, J'Leon Love, Delen Parsley Jr,  and Luis Rosa Jr. as Leon clients that are promoted by DiBella.
