ShoStats: Chemito Moreno Boxes Darchinyan's Ears Off

In a Showtime televised co-main event, WBA bantamweight champion Anselmo "Chemito" Moreno, who hasn’t lost in over nine years, outlanded Vic Darchinyan better than 2-1 in total  punches.  Moreno landed a whopping 66% of his power punches- 30% higher than the weight class average. I am really pleased that people are finally on the Moreno bandwagon. Been watching him for a while now and finally people don't say "who's that?" anymore. :boxing:

Just had the pleasure of watching this fight. I thought Moreno was terrific. Round 1 and 6 might, might have gone to Darchinyan (I split round 1 and gave 6 to Vic), but otherwise it was boxing clinic. Here's to…

Moreno won't fight Donaire anytime soon. Not only is Donaire moving up but he's with Top Rank and Moreno is with GBP...
