| Shawn Porter-Julio Diaz Lands on The Khan-Molina Bill

By Edward Chaykovsky According to The Desert Sun, undefeated welterweight prospect Shawn Porter (20-0, 14KOs) will face former champion Julio Diaz on the Amir Khan-Carlos Molina undercard on December 15th at the Los Angeles Sports Arena in California. Porter comes off a dominating decision win over Alfonso Gomez in July. Diaz (40-7, 29KOs) seems like he's been around forever, but the fighter is only 32-years-old. He won two in a row since suffering a vicious third round knockout loss to big puncher Kendall Holt in May of 2011. Diaz last fought on September 29th, stopping Hector Sanchez in five. Julio Diaz is not going to test shawn porter, in all of julio diaz's major fights he checks out mentally - or physically ! so with that knowledge i am confident that he will check out or get checked out by the 4th or 5th |

Diaz has had a couple tune-ups since then (at 147) and he looked good knocking... |
