| Shane Mosley Being Lured To Return Against Jonak?
|

By Luke Furman Polish promoter Andrzej Wasilewski is interested in securing former three division world champion Shane Mosley (46-8-1, 39 KOs) as a high profile opponent for up and coming junior middleweight contender Damian Jonak (34-0-1, 21 KOs). Wasilewski would like to stage this fight on his big show on December 8 in Katowice. Mosley retired from boxing a few months ago. He hasn't won a fight since the 2009 upset of heavily favored Antonio Margarito. During a few recent interviews, Mosley said he was still training and keeping in shape and didn't 100% rule out the possibility of coming back for a farewell fight, but it remains to be seen if the 29-year-old Jonak presents the type of opportunity that Mosley would be interested in. Wasilewski has brought big American names to Poland in the past. Most recently he put together the June event with Roy Jones Jr. winning a controversial decision over Pawel Glazewski in Lodz. Shane can't fight anymore
Floyd whooped him, he struggled to beat Mora (thought he won it)
he ran from Pac and Alvarez whooped him
happy to see him getting involved in promoting now
it can earn him money and keep him out of the ring
maybe work with his son or train fighters
but don't fight ... |
