Sergio Martinez Warns: Maidana Has Bricks in His Hands

WBC middleweight champion Sergio Martinez took a break from his training to meet with the young kids of Buenos Aires and gave them advice on life and sports. During the meeting, Martinez was asked about his countryman, WBA welterweight champion Marcos Maidana, who faces WBC king Floyd Mayweather Jr. on May 3rd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Martinez was asked if Maidana had any possible chance of beating Mayweather.

"Maidana has every possible chance of winning. He has two bricks in his hands and he's shown that fact on several occasions," Martinez said.

Martinez will defend his title against former three division champion Miguel Cotto on June 7th at New York's Madison Square Garden.
