According to BBC Sport, former world champion Scott Harrison (25-2-2, 14KOs) has been arrested for allegedly stealing from a supermarket on the outskirts of Glasgow. Harrison was released from a Spanish jail last year after serving a sentence for theft and assault. Following his release, he hooked up with promoter Frank Maloney and hopes to reclaim lost glory in the ring.

A Strathclyde Police spokeswoman said a 34-year-old man had been arrested in connection with an alleged theft and minor public disorder offence. The alleged incident took place at Tesco in Rutherglen early on Wednesday.

Harrison, from Cambuslang, was later released. Inactive since 2005, he is due to make a comeback in Blackpool on March 31 as part of the Brian Rose-Max Maxwell undercard.
