Schaefer Says Mosley-Mundine is Close For November

By Mike Coppinger

BoxingScene.com has been advised by Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer that a junior middleweight match between Sugar Shane Mosley (47-8, 39KOs) and Anthony Mundine (44-5, 26KOs) is close for November in Australia.

Schaefer says no contract is signed yet; Mundine's promoter still has to fulfill certain things to complete the deal.

Mosley is coming off a win over Pablo Cesar Cano this summer. Mundine last fought in January, a decision loss to fellow Australian Daniel Geale.

I don't think this is a good style match up for Mosley. He really needs to start letting his hands go.:boxing:
