Schaefer Likes The Idea of Zab Judah-Mauricio Herrera
By Mike Coppinger
Zab Judah hasn't fought since a lopsided loss to Paulie Malignaggi in December, but the former two-division champ still has one of the biggest names in the sport. Not only does he have the name recognition, but Golden Boy Promotions CEO believes Judah has something left in the tank.
However, Judah has lost two straight fights. Where does he go from here? Schaefer has an idea.
"A Zab Judah-Mauricio Herrera fight I would love to see," Schaefer told BoxingScene.com. "I mean who wouldn't want to see that? That would be an attractive fight."
Herrera is also coming off a loss, albeit a disputed one. He was on the wrong end of a decision versus Danny Garcia in March, a fight that strengthened his standing in the sport. A matchup would Judah could loom.
