Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer would love to bring back John Molina (27-4, 22KOs) to one of his events. On Saturday night at the StubHub Center in Carson, Molina waged war with Argentine puncher Lucas Matthysse for eleven high paced rounds. The war, which many view as a frontrunner for Fight of The Year, saw Matthysse get dropped in rounds two and five, before coming back to drop Molina three times for an eleven round TKO win.

"I don't even promote him and I went up to him after the fight and said that I would love bring him back any time. I told him that even though he didn't get the win or get the knockout, he made a lot of new fans with this unbelievable performance," Schaefer said.

One possible option that Schaefer likes is a match between Molina and Mauricio Herrera, who recently signed with Golden Boy. Last month, Herrera (20-4, 7KOs) found himself on the losing end of what many saw as a controversial majority decision defeat to heavily favored WBC/WBA champion Danny Garcia.

"There are a lot of options at 140-pounds. We could do Molina and Mauricio Herrera. Who wouldn't want to see that fight?," Schaefer said.
