Newly crowned WBO middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders (23-0, 12KOs) has dared Chris Eubank Jr. to make good on his boast of going after WBA/IBO/IBF champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin.

In numerous interviews, Eubank (and his father) said he was confident of having the capabilities to hand Golovkin his first loss as a pro. Eubank suffered his first career defeat last year in a close decision loss to Saunders.

After Saunders captured the WBO world title from Andy Lee on Saturday, Eubank quickly called him our for a fight.

Saunders laughed at the challenge and took aim by blasting his domestic rival.

"I'm at a new level - I've arrived. Eubank is fighting people I beat two years ago," said Saunders. "Let him go down the Golovkin route where he said he was going to go. If he's got big enough balls, then let him go and fight for a world title - but he will never be a world champion because he isn't good enough.

"In the summer I was putting my world title spot on the line and he was getting money that he could have retired on. But he decided not to sign like he was some kind of superstar - but now I'm the world champion, I've got the title. You don't know how hard they are to work with - you can never rely on them. But at the minute I'm onto bigger and better things. If the Eubank fight comes it's got to be for a lot of money and it will be my rules.

"I won't take any of their b******s anymore - they love talking about world titles but they don't want to get in there and actually fight for one. I'd rather give Nick Blackwell a shot than give him one. Let him fight Golovkin and if he beats him then we can have a big unification fight."
