Unidad Deportiva El Chamizal, Zamora, Michoacán de Ocampo, Mexico - Bruno Sandoval (10-0, 9KOs) captured his first pro title, the WBC's USNBC middleweight title with a fifth round knockout of Eduardo Tercero (12-3, 8 KO's). Sanodval controlled the action and then battered Tercero in the fifth round.

Yazmin Rivas (26-7, 9KOs) won a ten round unanimous decision over Mayerlin Rivas (8-3-1, 6KOs) to retain the IBF female bantamweight championship. The scores were 100-89, 97-92 and 99-90.
