| Sampson Dares Top Heavyweights To Fight Magomed

Innovative and audacious boxing advisor and matchmaker Sampson is willing to accept a sum of one dollar, for his exciting young heavyweight Magomed Abdusalamov (16-0, 16KOs), to fight anyone ranked in the top fifteen by the WBC.
Undefeated Magomed who's currently ranked number nine, has fought sixteen times and dispatched all of his opponents via KO. Sampson stressed his ambition is: "I want to work hard towards a mandatory. I want to have an elimination tournament, to prove that my guy is the best!"
So far there have been no takers, who would go home with considerably more than nickels and dimes, And there were no seconders for the Sampson: "Dollar fight" proposal, at the WBC's 50th Convention in the Grand Oasis Hotel in Cancun. One member of the Governors retorted that an opponent would have to recieve appreciably more than a mentioned proposed sum of thirty thousand dollars.
Sampson who stated that from his corner, he'd take thirty percent of that dollar and the offer still stands, although an opponent of Magomed probably wouldn't do so for all that long. He commented: "A fighters like Magomed who is willing to fight for the glory, doesn't have a chance, because no one will fight him."
He also controversially observed: "This is to show you the boxing business. Everyone tries to go to the top without working hard. They want an easy way to go and get paid. You need to fight!"Tags: Magomed Abdusalamov  |

When Magomed fought McCline I was shocked when he was floored. Magomed has great power but if he doesn't learn some defense he won't go far. Potential to be a very exciting fighter still. |
