Sam Soliman, Brad Pitt Win Key Bouts in Flemington

Melbourne Pavilion in Flemington, Victoria, Australia - In an IBF middleweight eliminator, Sam Soliman (40-11, 17KOs), ranked at 5, won a twelve round unanimous decision over Eromosele Albert (24-6-1, 12KOs), ranked at 13. The scores were 118-110, 117-111 and 116-112. Soliman on a five fight win streak since losing a decision to Anthony Mundine in 2008. Albert loses his second in a row, after dropping a decision to IBF champion Daniel Geale in August.

Also on the card, hot cruiserweight prospect Brad Pitt (12-0, 10KOs) stopped Victor Oganov  (31-5, 29KOs) in the fifth round of action. Oganov in his second fight as a cruiser after making most of his career fights at super middleweight. Pitt wins the IBO's vacant Asia Pacific title.
