Salvador Sanchez II To Appear on Canelo-Lopez Card

The State of Mexico Salvador Sanchez II (30-4-3, 18KOs) will have a tough confrontation against undefeated Andres "Jaguar" Gutierrez (22-0-1, 19KOs) on the 15th of September at the MGM Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, according to Sanchez's manager Grant Elvis Phillips. The card will be headlined by Saul "Canelo" Alvarez vs. Josesito Lopez.

Phillips said - "the fight will be eight or ten rounds at 126 pounds. It is a good parameter to measure the scope of Salvador. We want an opportunity against the winner of Jhonny Gonzalez (WBC featherweight champion) and Daniel Ponce de Leon, they will be on the same card and this should motivate Salvador further."
