Former champion Orlando Salido (41-12-2, 28KOs) is likely going to return on August 30th in Hermosillo, Mexico. Salido's last fight came against two-time Olympic gold medal winner Vasyl Lomachenko, where the Mexican veteran won an unexpected twelve round split decision to prevent the rising sensation from winning the WBO crown in his second pro fight.

Is Salido is successful, manager Sean Gibbons tells BoxingScene.com that a title fight against WBC super featherweight champion Takashi Miura (27-2-2, 20KOs) is being discussed for a date of October 11th in Singapore. Miura defeated three top Mexican contenders in 2013 - Dante Jardon, Sergio Thompson, Gamaliel Diaz. Miura has yet to fight in 2014.
I want to agree, but he did beat Lomachenko. Even if Salido was weight drained and got tired late. Is Miura better than Lomachenko?
Miura didn't know how to handle that kind of fighter in a 12 round affair. Miura brawls, Salido Brawls.... they're gonna brawl. Miur...

Salido/Miura would be a war. Hope it happens.
