| Salido-Garcia, Vanes-Lara Double Eyed For November

By Rick Reeno Top Rank's CEO, Bob Arum, has advised BoxingScene.com that his company is looking to stage an HBO televised doubleheader, either on November 10 or November 17th - possibly at the Wynn in Las Vegas. In the main event, Orlando Salido (39-11-2, 27KOs) would defend his WBO featherweight title against undefeated Mikey Garcia (29-0, 25KOs). And the co-feature would be a WBC junior middleweight eliminator between Vanes Martirosyan (32-0, 20KOs) and Erislandy Lara (17-1-1, 11KOs). The Wynn is interested in placing the card in a ballroom located in their venue. According to Arum, the ballroom would seat 3,000. Awesome Card, can't wait for this! I give Salido a slight edge and Vanes a clear winner in a great fight. Salido comes to fight, Garcia has never been in a tough fight and it'll take a lot for him be able to stop Salido's offensive attack, not sure if he has the experience.
