Ruslan Chagaev Will Now Face Saglam in Dusseldorf

Former heavyweight champion Ruslan Chagaev (30-2-1, 19KOs) will now face Yakup Saglam (28-1, 25KOs) on December 1st in Düsseldorf, Germany. Saglam has an impressive record on paper, but never faced a boxer even close to the credentials of the former champ. Chagaev was going to face Mike Perez, who withdrew a few days ago with a shoulder injury. Former middleweight king Felix Sturm is promoting the card.

Yakup Saglam.. Well, if Yakup wins then he'll be launched into the known world. He was defeated by German prospect Michael Wallisch about 2 years ago IIRC.
