WBO Latino featherweight champion Matias Rueda (15-0, 13KOs) retained his title with a sixth round knockout of Diego Tejerina (9-2-3, 8KOs) at Sociedad de Fomento 12 de Octubre in Buenos Aires, Argentina.  This was a rematch of their August encounter, where Rueda sparked out Tejerina in two rounds. Redua also captured the vacant Argentina championship in the fight. In the rematch,  Rueda slowly broke down a very brave Tejerina, and finally punished him over with combinations in the sixth to get the stoppage.
