Former four division world champion Roy Jones Jr. is picking WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (33-0, 30KOs) to beat both of the men he is trying to lure into the ring - WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto and Mexican superstar Saul "Canelo" Alvarez.

Golovkin recently called out both Cotto and Canelo.

Cotto defends his world title on June 6th against Daniel Geale at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Canelo wants to return on September 12th and the target opponent is Cotto - if he beats Geale.

In the opinion of Jones, Golovkin is simply too big for both Cotto and Canelo.

"I would go with Triple G right now [to beat Canelo] because of his size factor. He is a normal middleweight, whereas Alvarez is a good fighter, a very strong fighter - but he's not a normal middleweight. Alvarez is not a solid middleweight. He's a junior middleweight. Triple G is a solid middleweight. They both have punching power but I got to go with Triple G because of the fact that he's a bigger fighter," Jones told BoxingScene.com.

"Cotto can beat anyone on any given night. However, I think he's too small for Triple G. But we don't know. We have to see if Triple G can deal with his punch. Freddie [Roach] got him punching. Freddie has got him fighting really good now, so we've got to see."
