Russian promoter Kirill Pchelnikov is putting together a show in Kranodar (Russia) in late September and his company has announced that former four-division world champion Roy Jones Jr. is likely going to headline the card.

At age 45, Jones (58-8, 41KOs) continues to fight well beyond his best years. He was last seen in action on July 26th in Riga (Latvia) and stopped overmatched British boxer Courtney Fry in five rounds.

If the fight goes forward, it would make it the first time since 2011 where Jones saw action more than once in a single year.

About 2 yrs ago Roy said he would make the greatest comeback in history. Many people laughed at him and begged him to retire. RJ is on a mission. And I believe he will be Cruiserweight Champ. Roy is gonna get Diablo if he continues to hold the CW belt. How could anyone bet against Jones. He has a...

where the **** is Krasnodar even the author spelled it different in the title and the article. dont worry though, I am sure the athletic commission in russia will make sure there are no health risks to RJJ due to their stringent standards.
