| Roy Jones Eyes Robert Guerrero-Paul Spadafora Clash

By Bill Emes Former four division champion Roy Jones Jr. advised BoxingScene.com that he wants to match junior welterweight contender Paul Spadafora (46-0-1, 19KOs) against Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero (30-1, 18KOs), the WBC's interim-champion at welterweight. Spadafora returned on Saturday night in West Virginia, for the first time in two years, and won an eight round unanimous decision over Humberto Toledo. Spadafora is now promoted by a new company that Jones is involved with, TNT Promotions. "I think I'm going to give him one more fight and then I'll be looking for Robert 'The Ghost' Guerrero for him....because I think that's a great fight for him. Spad shot his bride to be. Went to prison. How can anyone trust a lowlife who plugs an innocent girl he knows?? Could he beat Guerrero? No way to weak in character to win a big fight. Why be involved with a shooter?? Roy must really need money badly? |
