Roman Gonzalez Will See Action on Viloria-Marquez Bill

By Rafael Soto

The WBA junior flyweight champion Roman "Chocolatito¨ Gonzalez of Nicaragua has been confirmed to be part of a great boxing undercard on Nov. 17 at the Sports Arena in Los Angeles. The show will be headlined by the highly anticipated WBA/WBO title unification fight between flyweights Brian Viloria and Hernan "Tyson" Marquez.

Gonzalez (33-0, 28 KOs) is coming off a third round knockout of Stiven Monterrosa in Managua and he is completely ready to defend his belt for the ninth time against a challenger to be determined. Gonzalez won the world flyweight belt in Japan in 2008.

The boxing function will air on Azteca 7 and in the U.S. on WealthTV.
