World Boxing Council flyweight champion Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez (42-0, 36KOs)says he's going to make a big impression in his upcoming fight against Edgar Sosa (51-8, 30KOs). For Roman, all roads lead to Los Angeles for his May 16th return at the Inglewood Forum.
It's there where he'll be defending his WBC flyweight championship against Edgar Sosa. He's sharing the card with explosive puncher and WBC interim-middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin.
There's also an element of mystery...."We still don’t know where press conference in Mexico will be,” mused Chocolatito´s manager Carlos Blandon.
Roman is preparing for the most exacting and electric combat, where sparks will fly! He said:
“I'll have my training camp at the same place where Gennady Golovkin is training. He'll star in the main event of the night. I'm really happy for this opportunity. I'm also delighted in signing a four fight per year deal with HBO.
"I know great things are coming, and that motivates me to work all the harder. My mission is to make an impact on the day of the fight. I know the Forum will be crowded, and I am extra motivated for that."
