Roman Gonzalez Hits Japan, Continues Camp For 9/5

Undefeated Nicaraguan, and number one ranked contender in the flyweight division, Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez (39-0, 35KOs) is already on Japanese soil, where on September 5th he challenges WBC champion Akira Yaegashi (20-3, 10KOs) at the Yoyogi No. 2 Gymnasium in Tokyo.

This card is organized by former Strawweight WBC world Champion, Hideyuki Ohashi, who's the President of the Ohashi Boxing Gym in Yokohama and also Leader of the Professional Boxing Association in Japan.

On the same great card, there will be another world championship on the line. Undefeated Japanese WBC light flyweight Champion, Naoya Inoue (6-0, 5KOs) will defend his crown against Thai Samartlek Kokietgym (17-4, 5KOs).

Román "Chocolatito" González arrived to Japan on August 18th  in order to seamlessly adapt to the conditions of the country. He's busy preparing at Teiken Boxing Gym in Tokyo, to maintain peak condition.
