By Paul Fletes,
Nicaragua's Román "Chocolatito" González (30-0, 25KOs) is finishing up his training camp and getting ready to travel out to Mexico. On March 17th in Culiacan, Gonzalez will defend his WBA junior flyweight championship against former beltholder Ramon Garcia (16-3,1, 9KOs).

"Román is fine, in great condition," said Arnulf Obando, the coach of González. "We do not have any problems and I think that we'll travel to Mexico on Monday [March 12]."

Gonzalez returns to Mexico for the fifth time in his career, and makes the fourth defense of his title. Gonzalez has been branching out to get more recognition from the fans. In 2011 he fought twice in Mexico and made his United States debut at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
