Roman Gonzalez To Face Omar Salado on July 9th

Mexico's Omar Salado has been confirmed as the opponent to face Nicaragua's Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez (28-0, 23KOs) on July 9th. Gonzalez makes the second defense of his flyweight crown of the World Boxing Association. The venue in Mexico is not yet known, however, Gonzalez trains with heavy intensity at the Roger Deshon Gym in the neighborhood of San Judas.

"I know the Mexican is a good fighter, very strong," González said. "But the important thing is that I will be in very good condition and ready to win this fight.
