The Nicaraguan boxer Romαn "Chocolatito" Gonzalez (39-0, 33KOs) continues to work hard for his fight against WBC flyweight champion Akira Yaegashi (20-3, 10KOs), scheduled for September 5 in Tokyo, Japan.

Earlier today, Gonzalez a public training session for the Japanese press. The media day was organized by promoter Teiken, led by businessman Akihiko Honda.

According Arnulfo Obando, the coach Gonzalez, the boxer has held private sparring and training sessions in Tokyo.

"Roman has been working hard for this fight. I like what I see, he is in good condition and ready to win and bring this third world title back to Nicaragua," Obando said.

For the press, Gonzalez did three rounds of sparring against Filipino Rocky Fuentes, an experienced fighter who developed his career in Japan.

"Chocolatito" also sparred on Saturday for five rounds with Yu Kimura, a Japanese flyweight national champion.

Gonzalez was already captured the minimumweight and junior flyweight championships of the World Boxing Association (WBA), and winning a third crown will match the title wins of Nicaraguan great Alexis Arguello.
