BoxingScene.com has been advised that a four-man light heavyweight tournament is being planned for Monaco.

In the preliminaries, to take place in March, Edwin Rodriguez (22-0, 15KOs) will face-off against Jean Paul Mendy (29-1-1, 16KOs) while Zsolt Erdei (33-0, 18KOs) will fight Dmitry Sukhotsky (19-2, 14KOs). The finals are scheduled for June.

Both Rodriguez and Erdei are promoted by Lou DiBella and Rodriguez will be moving up from 168 for the tourney. Erdei last fought in June 2011.

Mendy has participated in a tournament before, fighting in Showtime's first super middleweight tourney. Sukhotsky (19-2, 14 KOs) is 31 and has fought most of his bouts in his native Russia.
