Roberto Marroquin Ready For Revenge Match With Diaz

Dallas - Featherweight contender Roberto Marroquin of Dallas will have his Media Day at the Vivero Boxing Gym, 2107 Balboa Drive, Dallas, on Wednesday December 4 to work out and talk about "my biggest fight ever," a rematch with Daniel Diaz of Managua at the WinStar World Casino, Thackerville, Oklahoma, on Saturday, December 7.

Roberto will be in the gym with his famous Texas trainer, Paul Reyes.

"I know what the stakes are in this fight. I must win this one," Marroquin said from training camp today. "I thought I did enough to beat Diaz the first time but it was scored the other way. Now I must win decisively."

Marroquin vs Diaz is scheduled for 10 rounds and the fight will be on Solo Boxeo Tecate program televised live on UniMas.

There will be eight bouts on the card.

Tickets for the Red River Rumble at the WinStar World Casino are $100 VIP, $55, $35 and are available at Ticketmaster 1-800-745-3000.
