Bayamon's Roberto Acevedo (6-0, 3 KOs - 168 lbs.) return to the ring on Friday January 4th at the Magic City Casino in Miami, Florida. He will face local undefeated prospect  Marquis Davis (6-0-2, 4 KOs) in a six round bout with an agreed weight of 168 pounds.

Acevedo vs. Davis will fight in "swing bout" on the card, so depending on the length of ESPN's televised fights, the bout may be aired as part of the Friday Night Fights telecast. The card will be headlined by a super featherweight clash between Rances Barthelemy and Arash Usmanee.

As an amateur boxing, Acevedo compiled a record of 50 wins, 20 of them by knockout, and only one defeat. He was a three-time regional champion and a two-time Puerto Rican national champion.
