Roach Says Cotto Body Attack Will Create Martinez KO
“We have seen Martinez fights. I observed him closely when I was in Julio Cesar Chavez Jr’s corner, and he’s very fast. But...like all opponents he can be outboxed. If Miguel focuses on his body, Martinez will loose his speed and that's when we will knock him out,” Roach mused.
Cotto has been training with Roach at the Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles, California. This is not the first time they've successfully worked together in LA. Roach trained Cotto for his last fight against Delvin Rodriguez, which ended with a spectacular KO.

Roach is an aggressive trainer, sometimes too agressive, some of his fighters have lost on KO's to good counter fighter (Garcia, Marquez,) and although Cotto is more skilled than Martinez, Martinez is fast and a good counter.Comment by TGD on 05-09-2014
