WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao is still very interested in facing Floyd Mayweather Jr., who holds the WBC/WBA titles at 147 and 154. The fight has been talked about for at least five years. The negotiations have either fallen apart or never got serious.

Pacquiao's trainer, Freddie Roach, said his boxer will no longer wait around for a Mayweather fight. Pacquiao will continue forward, fight by fight. If Mayweather wants to face him the phone line is open, says Roach.

"We can't waste our time waiting for him," Roach said. "We've done everything we could to make that fight happen. It's like, we're available if he's interested in it, but again we can't sit around waiting for him."

Pacquiao defends his title against Chris Algieri on November 22nd at the Venetian in Macau, while Mayweather faces Marcos Maidana in a rematch on September 13th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
